Black Ops 7 Zombies: Paradox Junction Sundergat guide—build the Blundergat, lure two blue-flame tornado zombies to the Cul-de-Sac bench, drop the Tortured Mimic, then hop to past Nuketown to upgrade.

If you've been living in Paradox Junction since Season 02 Reloaded, you've probably learned the same lesson I did: if you don't lock in your setup early, the underground turns into a meat grinder. Some folks even warm up their aim and routing in a CoD BO7 Bot Lobby just to get the rhythm down before trying the Sundergat quest for real. And yeah, the Sundergat is worth the hassle. It's not "nice to have" crowd control—it's the thing that keeps a bad round from becoming a wipe when the spawns get rude.

Build the Blundergat first

You can't skip this. The Sundergat steps won't even behave until the base Blundergat is crafted, so don't waste time hunting upgrade triggers with an empty inventory. Scavenge the four Blundergat parts around Paradox Junction, then take them to the Cul-de-Sac Workbench—the one with the greasy stains and that chunky metal vise. Burn the location into your brain, because you'll be dragging special enemies back here later, usually while your squad's panicking. Craft the Blundergat, grab it, reload it, and keep it on you; swapping it out mid-quest is how people quietly break their own run.

Escort the blue-flame tornado zombies

After you've got the Blundergat in hand, start watching for Blue-Flame Fire Tornado Zombies. They tend to show up right after a round flips, and you'll know them when you see them—blue swirl, loud presence, hard to ignore. The mistake most teams make is deleting them instantly. Don't. Thin the normal zombies first, then "walk" the blue-flame one back to the workbench. No hero plays, no grenade spam, no random teammate "helping." Get the zombie near the bench and finish it there. You need to do that two times total, and if one dies out in the wild, you're waiting for another spawn and the whole pace falls apart.

Charge it with the Tortured Mimic

Once the second blue-flame zombie drops by the bench, the game usually answers with a Tortured Mimic. It's tanky, it hits hard, and it loves cornering you on the way in. Keep moving, keep the path clear, and lead it to the same workbench spot. The key detail: kill the Mimic with the Blundergat, not whatever you happen to be holding. This is the "charge" moment, and if you're sloppy here, you'll feel it later when nothing progresses and everyone starts arguing about what "should've" worked.

Flip timelines and finish the transformation

Now you've got to use the map's two timelines. Get into the Past version of Nuketown—the intact one—either by waiting for the round shift or paying for a golden portal if you've got essence to burn. Find the workbench in the Past, give it a quick melee tap, and place the Blundergat down. Then jump back to the present-day, wrecked Nuketown and watch the upgrade sequence kick in as it turns into the Sundergat; stay sharp while it happens because Rad-Hounds love to ruin the moment with their gas. If you're trying to keep your loadout smooth between attempts—whether that's currency, items, or just saving time on the grind—a lot of players use U4GM to sort the prep so they can focus on the run instead of the chores.
